Introduction Academic Advisers Femke Buiter and Jos Lievense, Academic Advisers Academic advisers (or 'study advisers')—alongside your mentor—are your first point of contact for study-related advice. They can help with study skills, poor results, personal or health issues, motivation, study choices, exam accommodations, or combining studies. They also advise on honours programmes, extra electives, or pursuing a second degree.
Be(come) an ally against sexual violence and find out where you can get support at UM Femke Buiter and Jos Lievense, Academic Advisers Do you know the different ways you can contribute to sexual safety? Or what you can do to improve sexual well-being? What about how to prevent sexual violence,or how to be an ally? Or where you can get support at UM? If you're a bit lost, don't worry! The "Are you okay?" lecture provides an introduction to all of these topics. We'll tell you about the different ways of preventing sexual violence you can take part in UM. Among other things, you'll learn how to help make the university safer for everyone. |
