Ben jij een student met een passie voor technologie en innovatie? Volg je een opleiding als software of hardware developer, 3D artist of storyteller? Of ben je een student in de zorg, marketing & business of ander vakgebied? Dan is de hackathon tijdens de Immersive Tech Week in Rotterdam de kans voor jou! 

Tijdens dit unieke evenement ga je samen met medestudenten aan de slag en ontdek je de mogelijkheden van immersive technologie. Als groep bedenken jullie in drie volle dagen een immersive en innovatieve oplossing voor één van de drie challenges: zorg en haptische feedback, toekomstscenario’s en digitale entiteiten.

Wanneer en waar?

De hackathon is van maandag 1 december tot en met woensdag 3 december 2025. Op maandag en dinsdag ben je van 09.00 – 22.00 uur op lokatie Museumpark om aan de opdracht te werken. Woensdag 3 december ga je van 10.00 – 18.00 uur naar een andere lokatie in Rotterdam om jullie oplossing te presenteren. De hackathon wordt afgesloten met een expositie en prijsuitreiking.

Information about Hackathon Immersive Tech 2025 

December 1 – December 3, 2025 

Are you a student with a passion for technology and innovation? Are you studying to become a software or hardware developer, 3D artist, or storyteller? Or are you a student in healthcare, marketing & business, or another field? Then the hackathon during Immersive Tech Week in Rotterdam is the opportunity for you! 

During this unique event, you will work with fellow students and explore the possibilities of immersive technology. As a group, you will come up with an immersive and innovative solution for one of the three challenges: healthcare and haptic feedback, future scenarios, and digital entities.

When and where?  

The hackathon will take place on Monday, December 1st to Wednesday, December 3rd, 2025. On Monday and Tuesday, you will work on the assignment at location Museumpark from 9:00 AM to 10:00 PM. On Wednesday, December 3rd, it will take place at a different location in Rotterdam from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM to present your solution. The hackathon will conclude with an award ceremony.
