Thursday 27 August - Excursions

Thursday 27 August is an excursion day, with excursions to Amsterdam, Leiden, The Hague & Rijswijk. The excursion day consists of a morning program with one or two excursions and an afternoon program with one or two excursions. The timings of the excursions are 10:00 – 10:45 & 11:15-12:00 (morning) and 14:00 – 14:45 & 15:15 – 16:00 (afternoon). Participants are asked to submit their preference for the morning and afternoon excursion. Below you will find a list with all possible combinations. Participants are responsible for their own transportation to the location of the excursions. More information about the excursions and what they entail can be found on this page. Once you have submitted your preference you will receive an email with additional information about the excursions closer to the date.

Important: Registration for the excursions is on a first-come, first-served basis. Excursions marked as Full have reached their maximum capacity and are no longer available for registration.

Friday 28 August - Zaandam

Friday 28th of August is a day of talks and excursions in the Zaandam region, with a closing reception at the end when everyone can celebrate one last time. It is part of the conference, and participants can choose 1 option for this day. Below you will find a list with all possible combinations. Participants are responsible for their own transportation to the Town Hall in Zaandam, busses will be arranged to bring the participants to the two locations. Packed lunches will be provided. More information about the excursions and what they entail can be found in the programme or PDF on the website

UvA Conferences and Events must be notified of cancellations in writing, via conference@uva.nl.
1. Cancellation on or before 10 July 2026: registration payment will be refunded (minus 50 euro administration costs)
2. Cancellation after 10 July 2026: no refunds will be possible.
