Online Knowledge College

 

On April 6^th from 15:45 - 17:15 CET the Invest in Holland Academy organizes the first digital Knowledge College of 2021. We will start with a brief welcome by two of our Invest in Holland directors. 

You will then join your chosen session:

 

1. Tax & Fiscal Incentives – by KPMG

(session in English)

KPMG will update the Invest in Holland network on the most important features of the Dutch fiscal climate that are relevant to our work. What has changed in 2021? What is the current status of the BIK-scheme? How does the Netherlands compare to neighboring countries? Please register for this session to receive the answers and to be better able to provide your clients and prospects with a high-level outline on the Dutch fiscal climate and fiscal incentives.

 

2. Dutch Customs – by Wiel Meessen & Jan Meyboom of Dutch customs

(session is in Dutch, English presentation will be available afterwards)

De douane en haar Europese wetgeving verandert de komende jaren. De exacte snelheden waarmee deze veranderingen gaan plaats vinden worden in gezamenlijkheid met alle lidstaten vastgesteld. De eerste echte uitdaging (BREXIT) ligt achter ons, het VK is een land geworden zoals alle NIET unie landen. Dit betekent douane verplichtingen en allerlei vergunningen van diverse instanties, het niet hoeven betalen van douane rechten uit het VK geldt alleen maar voor goederen van oorsprong uit het VK.

Bijzonder aandachtspunt is dat de BTW vrijstelling bij E commerce goederen onder een bepaalde waarde binnenkort gaat vervallen. De afdracht van BTW kan in één lidstaat geregeld worden, echter zitten hier allerlei verantwoordelijkheden en verplichtingen aan vast. Tot slot; Brexit ervaringen tot nu toe leren dat partijen met name in het VK, maar ook op het vaste land de EU verplichtingen lijken te onderschatten.

In onze voorlichting/presentatie stippen wij deze algemene ontwikkelingen aan.

 

3. Interactive session on Talent – by the Talent Focus team

(language will depend on participants in session)

Access to talent and the availability of labor are very important factors in the decision making process of our clients. Therefore, talent requires more attention, action and coordination from the Invest in Holland network. In this session we will discuss the goal of the Talent Focus team and we will review different talent initiatives. We would also like to learn from you and share best practices.
