Welcome

Welcome to the registration website of the Materials Technology Day organized by the
TU Delft, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Department of Materials Science and Engineering (MSE)

July 4th, Materials Technology Day

Joining Forces for Smart and Sustainable Corrosion Science and Engineering

Collaborative efforts across academia, knowledge institutes and industry are required to develop innovative solutions for corrosion management. By combining expertise from materials science, engineering, and technology, the integration of smart sensors, advanced protective coatings, and sustainable maintenance practices is paving the way for more efficient and eco-friendly corrosion protection. This interdisciplinary approach not only enhances durability and performance but also reduces environmental impact and asset management costs.
