Dr. Remco F.P. de Winter is a psychiatrist and medical director at GGZ Rivierduinen. Additionally, he serves as a senior researcher affiliated with the Department of Psychiatry and Neuropsychology at Maastricht University, the Faculty of Psychology and Pedagogy at the Free University of  Amsterdam, and the Parnassia Academy. He also holds positions as a board member at SUPRANETGGZ and as a member of the guideline committee for the multidisciplinary guideline on suicide.
Following his doctoral thesis in 2009, Remco has dedicated his efforts to research on suicidal behavior and suicide within the realm of mental health care. He has actively engaged in clinical and practical enhancements related to suicide prevention.
