In the plenary session, we will discuss the progress on our goals within the offshore chain. You will see some familiar faces again and get an update on safety and the progress of our offshore projects, from LPO, AMT and GFO perspective.

1.A. Diver Operation HKZ
Everything you ever wanted to know about why a diver entered the drilling of one of HKZ’s export cables and how it got out safely & sound again.

In 2050 the EU intends to reach the ambitious goal of 300 GW of offshore wind energy. This breakout session will share insights regarding the strategy behind this goal and will also elaborate on the role of the TSOs in the future.

4.A. Outlook on German & Dutch Offshore Grid Development until 2040

5.A. Always Energy
Recharge your personal battery with our program to move and relax in this breakout session. Learn the basics to (quickly) compensate a stressful and mostly sedentary (working) day – fun exercises to also load your battery of joy included! We will also boost our knowledge on vitality and health in our vitality quiz – with questions on positive psychology, a healthy sleep or the hormones that make you feel good. By the way, you´ll get to know your colleagues in their ‘game mode’.

For a successful and timely Offshore expansion, we need to come to terms with all of the different groups and put environmental protection, climate and the energy transition as well as society on equal footing. For this we need a balanced and collaborative approach, without which offshore expansion will be too slow, too costly and result in the build up of public and political opposition.
