Sports activity of choice:

Touch rugby

Touch rugby refers to games derived from rugby football in which players do not tackle each other but instead touch their opponents using their hands on any part of the body, clothing, or the ball. The game is similar to rugby but without the tackling, scrumming, rucking, mauling, lineouts and kicking. This fast, simple and exciting game promotes the fundamental skills of running, handling, evasion and support play, whilst developing basis principles of attack and defence, without the fear of getting hurt. Touch Rugby is suitable for both beginners and experienced players. Try it for yourself!

XCORE

XCORE is a high-energy, fun and unique core training using the XCO-trainer to give your muscles that extra boost. It’s the only core workout in which you train cardiovascular as well. During the training, you will burn many calories by doing multiple exercises, matching perfectly with the energetic music of the workout, which will help you stay motivated. The XCO-trainer is filled with grit. This grit has to move from side to side, which creates the so called "reactive impact". Your body has to work harder to keep balance which ensures a stronger core and burning more calories. Experience it first hand during the Staff Energizer Day and join the fun!

Fencing

We will start with a playful warm-up with action-reaction techniques focused on fencing, which you can also use in the warm-up of your own class. Then you will be introduced to the three weapons: foil, epee and sabre. You will get to know some specific footwork and fencing techniques. The class will be concluded by duelling with full fencing equipment and electronic pointing devices under the supervision of a jury (members of MAS Incontro). A perfect opportunity to try out fencing!

Coordination and reflex training

Nearly all sports require a combination of reactive and cognitive qualities (along with many other physical qualities), so it’s no surprise that training and improving reactivity and cognition can increase sports performance. Good hand-eye coordination training progressively challenges the athlete’s ability to execute a task based of the information garnered visually. Are you curious to find out how well your coordination and reflexes are trained? Join this practice full of fun exercises!

Take a walk

If you do not want to take part in any of the above sports activities, you can take a walk (unsupervised).

13:15 – 14:15

Lunch together

If you wish: shower
