Hike to Bemelen!

Do you want to get some fresh air and meet like-minded people? Then join us for a hike to Bemelen! This time, we’re going a little bit outside Maastricht. We’ll meet in Scharn in Maastricht, at Voetbalvereniging Scharn (or you can also take the bus there together with us) and we’ll hike to Bemelen. Once we’ve reached Bemelen, we will have a cosy coffee/ tea and then head back towards Maastricht. Join us for a good time and movement :)

UnliMited Connects the UM Community: Shifting Perspectives

Needs Accommodation and Inclusive Education

Join our lecture and panel on needs accommodation! This event will explore the concept of needs accommodations for people with a disability, chronic condition, or neurodivergence. What are reasonable accommodations and how can we advocate for ourselves?

Our event will have a welcoming speech by Prof. Dr. Pamela Habibović, Rector of UM. The lecture will be by Eline Pollaert, a PhD Researcher on the history of disabilities in the Netherlands. Come join us for their lecture on the social model of disabilities and how that relates to needs accommodation!

With us on the panel will be decision-makers: Nieke Guillory (HR) and Margriet Schreuders (SSC) and community members, Prof. Lisa Waddington (Law: European Disability rights), Maud Langen (student) and Vincent Philippy (student). The event will be held in English, but questions during the panel can also be asked in Dutch.

Livestream will be available.
