Dr. Yil Severijns is an assistant professor in Health Psychology (Open Universiteit, Heerlen), researching complex decision-making in (mental) health and family life. She studies mental health disclosure in academia and how individuals make difficult decisions, aiming to develop tools that improve personal and societal well-being. Her PhD focused on couples at risk of transmitting a genetic disease to their offspring and the desire to have a child.


 

 

Dr. Thomas Gültzow is a behavioural and decision-making scientist focused on inclusivity, behaviour change, and (informed) decision making. His research spans sexual health, mental health, and climate change, aiming to support societal transitions and promote equity. With his work he strives to improve both individual and planetary health, with a strong emphasis on social justice and ensuring that everyone is visible in research.
