Invitation to the 29th BWI World Board Meeting

Dear Friends and Colleagues,

 

Warm Greetings of Solidarity! For the first time after 2 years, we are attempting to organize a global event in-person in Geneva.  On behalf of the BWI Presidium, I would like to invite you to the 29th BWI World Board Meeting which will take place in Geneva on 26 and 27 April 2022. Meeting venue will be announced later.

Please click here to register for the meeting by 21 March 2022, Monday. Should it be not possible for you to attend the meeting as a titular member, please notify us so we can inform your substitute member accordingly. 

Meetings’ Schedule:
25 April     Virtual            International Women’s Committee
25 April     Virtual            International Youth Committee
26 April     13:00 CEST – 17:00 CEST    World Board 
27 April     09:00 CEST – 16:00 CEST    World Board

Please note that in accordance with the BWI Statutes Article 5, the right to participate in the BWI statutory meetings is suspended should an affiliate be in arrears of affiliation fee payment. In this regard, we strongly encourage members of the BWI statutory structures (IWC, IYC, WB, WC) to comply with the payment of fees before the World Board meeting.

The interpretation will be available in English, German, French, Spanish.

Please find attached the proposed agenda along with the first batch of documents of Draft Minutes of BWI World Board Meeting in 2021 and BWI Calendar for 2022. The rest of the documents will be available in the BWI Digital Binder by 08 April 2022. We will send you additional information on how to access the documents prior to the meeting and a practical information on accommodation conditions and meeting venue.
