Welcoming Words

 

Dear colleagues,

From 13 to 15 March 2024 we will organize the international developmental neurology conference with the title: ‘Neurodevelopmental disorders: from fundamental principles to family perspectives’.

We have composed a varied program with international key-note speakers who will highlight developmental disorders such as cerebral palsy, developmental coordination disorder (DCD) and autism spectrum disorder (ASD) from different perspectives. There will be focus on underlying mechanisms, early detection and early intervention.

The event will be hybrid: the main programme will be on-site in Groningen, but there will also be possibility to join online. There will be a welcome reception for all participants on the first day of the conference in the new Forum building in the city-centre of Groningen, with a beautiful view of the surroundings. The conference will be in English.

Like previous conferences of Developmental Neurology in Groningen, the event aims to be a meeting place for scientists and clinicians, where exchange of knowledge and experience will generate new insights and ideas. Participants are very welcome to submit an abstract for short oral presentations about their most recent research results.
