preliminary programme

📍Van der Valk, Maastricht

We are delighted to invite you to the Annual Science Days 2026, a two-day event dedicated to connecting researchers across all career stages – from PhD candidates and young investigators to postdocs, clinicians, and senior academics.

This year’s programme brings together a variety of scientific and interactive sessions. The event will open with a keynote lecture by prof. dr. Fiona Watt, followed by selected abstract presentations in Oncology and Reproduction, showcasing innovative research from within our community. Participants can engage in interactive round table discussions on topics such as OMICS, responsible use of AI, mental wellbeing, and interdisciplinary collaboration between clinicians and researchers.

In addition, the programme features poster sessions, short talks by emerging researchers, and practical insights on creating impact with your research. Throughout both days, there will be ample opportunity to exchange ideas, gain new perspectives, and strengthen collaborations across disciplines.

Beyond the scientific programme, the Science Days are designed to encourage meaningful connections in an informal setting. Social activities, including a networking BBQ with live music and informal drinks, provides space to meet colleagues, (re)connect, and build new relationships.

The event will take place on June 3–4 at Van der Valk Hotel Maastricht. We warmly invite you to join us for two inspiring days of science, interaction, and community!
