As you want to come and collect my diploma personally at the Education Desk in the Law Faculty, please wait for confirmation from law-diploma@maastrichtuniversity.nl. They will inform you when your diploma is ready to collect during working days between 10 am. and 2 pm. Note that you will need to present a proof of identity.

Caps and Gowns
In recent years, our graduates have worn caps and gowns during graduation ceremonies. From a sustainability perspective it is not desirable to purchase these garments for just a few hours of wear. We would appreciate it if you would dress festively for this occasion, but you are of course free to decide for yourself what to wear.
In case you do want to by a cap and gown, you could use the link in the confirmation you will receive after you click submit. Deadline is June 7.

Deadline
In order to prepare the diploma's, we work with a deadline. Unfortunately, we cannot accept requests/changes after the deadline.

QR Code & Identification
Upon entry, we ask you to show your personal QR code and a valid identity card (passport, identity card or residence permit). This is to ensure that the degree will be handed out to the rightful owner.

Extra guests
We hope you can bring your loved ones to witness the presentation of your diploma. It is not possible to bring extra guests other than the maximum you have registered.
Please do not send requests. With the current high number of graduates, fire safety and limited space for the reception afterwards, we cannot make exceptions.

Photos
Because we like to cherish good memories, the Faculty of Law will make photos which will be used on the UM website, alumnu wall, social media etc. You will receive a link afterwards to download your personal graduation photo.
By participating in the graduation ceremony, you agree to this. We do not offer livestream for this event.

Parking
We recommend traveling by public transport. The location is a 25-minute walk from the railway station. However, if you use your own transport, we recommend to reserve a place in the Q-park garage onder het Vrijthof. Parking costs are at your own expense.
