Disability access and support

The Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences is housed in 5 buildings (Grote Gracht, Maastricht). All buildings are fairly accessible for people with a physical disability, although there are some exceptions. Details about accessibility for wheelchair users, including the location of disabled toilets and floor plans can be found in the detailed descriptions for each building.

If you are a UM student with a disability and/or chronic illness, such as dyslexia, ADHD, autism, Crohn's disease, you can request the support and facilities that are necessary to accommodate your individual needs.

You can send an email to disability@maastrichtuniversity.nl or come by at our open office hours every working day between 11:00-13:00h at the student services center.

It is also possible to schedule an (online) meeting.

UnliMited Student Network

UnliMited-Students is a university-wide network established by and for students with disabilities, chronic illnesses and/or neurodivergence at UM. Our goal is to make student life as fun and pleasant as possible. We provide support through social gatherings, regular meetings and a WhatsApp community. Along with our focus on community-building and peer-support, we raise awareness for all of us living and studying with a disability at UM.
