Power System Integrity – bring AC and DC together

Power System Protection Centre of the Netherlands cordially invites you to the fifth workshop: Power System Integrity – bring AC and DC together, which will be held on the 7th of February 2024 on the premises of TU Delft, The Netherlands.

Power Systems are heading toward 100% penetration of renewable energy, and the changes resulting from this transition strongly affect the protection principles and schemes. The application of High Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) multi-terminal grids is one of the solutions that will be used to empower the European grid with a large amount of offshore wind power. As such, the impact of HVDC- on  AC grids, and the other way around, brings many challenges concerning the protection and control on both AC and DC sides.

Experts from utilities, manufacturers, and academia will convey their recent experience and vision concerning future protection solutions and the effects which they may impose on the European grid.

We are looking forward to meeting you in Delft,
