Cancellation Policy

 

MHeNs strives to provide high quality events to their network. It may happen that somebody registers for one of our events, but finds out later that he or she is unable to attend. In these situations, we ask that he or she notifies us of the need to cancel as soon as possible.

It may also happen that MHeNs needs to cancel one of their events if the quality cannot be guaranteed (for instance the number of participants too low, the speaker is ill or there is a worldwide pandemic such as by the corona virus). MHeNs is committed to taking positive steps to notify the registrants as soon as possible.

What to do in case of cancellation:
 

1.     General

Please send your cancellation by email to the contact person mentioned in the event information.
 

2.      Refunds and fees

  1. Refunds only apply if you have paid for the event. Cancellations made before 1 June 2022 or earlier will receive a 100% refund. Cancellations made after 1 June 2022 before the event or ‘No Shows’ will not receive a refund.
  2. If for you the event is free of charge and you cancel before 1 June 2022, it can be cancelled at no charge. For a cancellation after 1 June 2022 or by ‘No Show’ without timely notifying before the mentioned deadline, we will charge a reimbursement of € 25,00 for incurred costs.
     

3.      Cancellation or modification of an event by EURON.

  1. Certain circumstances (for instance but not limited to: speaker unable to attend, not enough registrations) may lead to a full cancellation of the event. If this is the case, EURON will ensure that all registrants will be informed as soon as possible.
  2. If you paid and the MHeNs event is cancelled by MHeNs, a full refund will be offered. MHeNs will contact all registrants at that point, to inform them of the cancellation, as well as practicalities surrounding the refund.
  3. MHeNs reserves the right to modify any event if unforeseen circumstances arise, but we will do our utmost to avoid doing so. In case of major modifications (change of speaker, change of date or change of location to another city), you may cancel your registration at no charge.
  4. After notification by MHeNs as mentioned under article 3.3, you are deemed to have agreed to the modification unless you have communicated your choice within 30 days after MHeNs’ notification.
  5. In no case shall MHeNs be liable for anything more or different than the refunding of the registration fee.
