Practical Information

 

Registration fee
The registration fee will cover the catering and technical costs for the entire two days.

 

Overnight stay
The hotel will not be included in the registration fee.

Travel by car
There is plenty of free parking available on the « Cité Scientifique » university campus. You can easily park your car and walk directly to Lilliad.

 

Travel by public transport
From Lille Flandres you can take the metro line 1, which takes around 20 minutes to get to the « Cité Scientifique Pr. Gabillard » stop. From Lille Europe station you can take the metro line 2 until Lille Flandres, then it's line 1 till « Cité Scientifique Pr. Gabillard » stop.

A metro ticket costs 1.80 euros and is available directly from metro stations, day passes and booklets of 10 tickets are also available.

To travel easly in the metro, you can also use your credit card (for metro only using). You can travel 1h with it in the metro, no validation required to exit. At the end of the day, a charge of €2 per trip (excluding connections) will be deducted directly from your bank account. From Lille-Lesquin airport, shuttles are available to take you to the lille flandres train station. From there, the metro will take you to the Cité Scientifique. Aéroport de Lille - Navette de l'aéroport

Lille has an extensive bus network, and you can find all the information you need on the website www.ilevia.fr.

 

Funding
The EURON mobility grant is available for PhDs that would like to attend the EURON PhD days, yet do not have the means to cover the overnight costs. Please see the EURON website (www.euronschool.eu) for information on how to apply for this mobility grant.
