Communication based protection
Power system protection centre of the Netherlands cordially invites you to the fourth workshop Communication Based Protection that will be held on June 2, 2022 at the TU Delft, Delft, The Netherlands.
Power Systems are heading toward 100% penetration of renewable energy and the changes resulting from this transition, strongly affects the protection principles and schemes. The communication between protection relays, the way of data transfer, the utilization of big data are on the top of the agenda related to energy transition in future power system protection.
Experts from utilities, manufacturers and academia will convey their recent experience related to the latest developments of IEC 61850 protection solutions and some of the on-going activities in the Netherlands related to synchrophasor applications.
