Who will win the CAPHRI Nanne de Vries Dissertation Award 2025? 

The Nanne de Vries Dissertation Award recognizes the completion of an outstanding dissertation by a CAPHRI PhD candidate in 2025. This year's nominees are:

From these exceptional candidates, the Science Committee has chosen the final three.

The top-3 finalists are:

Resistance training and muscle-brain crosstalk: implications for cognitive decline in aging and spinal cord injury
Charlotte Peters (HISP)
Beyond the red lights: understanding the STI/HIV burden and sexual healthcare needs of home-based and migrant sex workers

During the CAPHRI Day, these top-3 finalists will present their outstanding research, after which the winner of the Nanne de Vries Dissertation Award 2025 will be officially announced during the plenary closing ceremony at the end of the day.
