Session N - ELIXIR-ISBE session: Challenges of Data Stewardship

In a lively interactive shared ELIXIR/ISBE session on May 21 the 'Challenges of Data Stewardship' will be presented and discussed.

A first session (10:45-12:45) will inform everyone about the status of the two international research infrastructures ISBE and ELIXIR and the position in NL. This part will consist of three introductions: Martijn Moné will introduce ISBE, Barend Mons will introduce ELIXIR, and Luiz Olavo Bonino (DTL) will explain about the various projects on "good Data stewardship" and the role of FAIR data in that conext as well as the initiatives that have already been started and planned in The Netherlands as well as internationally.

A second session (13:15-14:15) will be dedicated to discuss with all attendees about diverse aspects of data stewardship and good data stewarship plans. This discussion will be led where needed by Carole Goble, Professor of Computer Science at the University of Manchester, UK.
