Call for abstracts

 

Next to the keynote speakers, the main programme of BioSB 2025 will feature parallel sessions that will be filled via abstract selection.

You can submit an abstract for: 

  • Oral     (if selected, it will be added to a session)
  • Poster (posters -> presented during the poster sessions)
  • Demo / Application showcase 

Submission deadlines

  • Oral presentations: 24 February 2025 (closed)
  • Notification date oral presentations: 24th of March
  • Poster presentations: 18th of April 2025
  • Demo presentations: 18th of April 2025

Abstracts will be reviewed by the Programme committee. You will receive the notification by e-mail.

Poster presentations

Poster display

During the two conference days, the posters will be displayed.

Preparations

Please prepare your poster in A0 portrait format: height: 1189 mm (46.81 inches) and width: 841 mm (33.11 inches). 

Best Poster prize

The best poster prize will be awarded to the Best Poster of the conference! Be aware of good questions from the Poster prize jury!

Submission procedure

You can submit your abstract via EasyChair. If you do not already have an account, you will be prompted to create one the first time you visit EasyChair.

From February 25 on you can only submit abstracts for posters.

 

NB: 

  • Please also provide the full abstract in the “Abstract” text box and upload the PDF as the abstract.
  • By default, all authors are considered corresponding authors for optimal communication. If 1 of the authors does not want to receive information by e-mail about the proceedings of BioSB 2025, you can uncheck the check box if necessary. 

Abstract preparation

Please prepare a 1-page abstract in PDF. The format should be:

  • A4 paper;
  • use Times Roman (10pt); 
  • two columns separated by 0.5 cm whitespace with margins of 2 cm;
  • Please specify a title, the authors and their affiliations and e-mail addresses; underline the presenting author!
