EURON PhD Days 2022
 

We cordially invite you to attend the 22nd edition of the EURON PhD Days. This year the EURON PhD days will be organized at Hasselt University on the 7th and 8th of February 2022.

It will be an opportunity to share your insights, results and ideas and get acquainted with recent scientific developments outside your own university, in an international context.

The program of the meeting consists of parallel sessions focusing on:
-    Neurodegeneration/regeneration and psychiatric disorders
-    The periphery: gut-brain axis, the PNS and sensory organs
-    Neuromodulation and neuroimaging
-    Immuno-neuron and glial-neuron interactions

Each session will be introduced by a presentation of an EURON scientist followed by four PhD student talks. Confirmed speakers are Prof Katie Lunnon, Prof Werend Boesmans, Prof Anne Grünewald, Dr. Paul Wieringa, Dr. Boriss Sagalajev and Dr. Yeranddy Aguiar Alpizar, who will present their their ongoing studies.
In addition, we will organize a workshop on networking, a panel discussion focusing on career options after your PhD, and two poster sessions.

Please note that both the venue and the organising committee are committed to following the government’s corona guidelines with regard to maintaining appropriate distance during all the sessions and will adjust the programme and maximum attendance accordingly. If necessary we will check the corona certificate upon entrance.

If you are joining onsite, your Covid Safe Ticket and ID will be checked and it will be mandatory to keep a surgical (no self fabrics) mouth mask at all time.
