Everything we do in the day, whether walking to class, drinking tea, waiting for a friend, or eating something, is an opportunity to practise mindfulness, to come back you our bodies, to relax, and to be in the present moment. In this short mindfulness exercise, we will practice eating a tangerine. Tangerines will be provided.

You know, things are happening. Fun things, they are great; Impactful things, sometimes nice; like graduation, sometimes shitty things like; divorce, passing of dear ones, abuse and so on. How to deal with them in a way that they will not block your future plans? In these 2 hours we will explore what happens, what the impact could be, how you normally deal with this and what would be a better option in dealing with it. You will learn a few crazy tools that could actually be of assistance in daily life and some choices you have for future shitty events.
About the Trainer
Marca de Greef from Emotionele Detox is a specialist in dealing with emotions and from her own experience she knows what the impact can be of shitty things that happen, as she was 15 when her mom passed away. Before she started her own business to support people with the emotional health, she worked at Maastricht University for 17 years.

Session by Helga Liegeois, Student Affairs Officer at the Maastricht Sustainability Institute. She also has her own practice in which she works as a Health Therapist and Naturopath.
What to expect?
Half an hour with muscle relaxation exercises, breathing techniques and visualization, to calm the body and mind.
It brings calmness to the brain, nervous system and activates blood circulation. As a result, the body functions optimally and emotional well-being is optimized.
What do you need to bring?
It is a sitting exercise on a chair or on the floor, in that case it is convenient to bring a cushion with you.

We will play with different forms of creative thinking - based on this you will gain insight into how you can give creativity a place in your daily life. and what you need to be able to do that.

Combine your workout with sightseeing on this running tour of Maastricht. The pace is adjusted to suit everyone and there are plenty of stops for explanations and anecdotes.
Warm-up + 60 minutes easy running by Raoul Spronken. He is the owner of Maastricht Running Tours, an organisation that he set up 12 years ago. Raoul does city and trail tours for tourists, expats and companies.
He is also ASICS Frontrunner for the Benelux team. A diverse team united by belief that movement has the power to uplift the mind.
Come in your running outfit. Raoul has a small backpack for your keys and mobile phone.

The combination of music and exercise decreases the stress hormone cortisol. In addition, while dancing, the happiness chemical endorphins are released. This makes you feel better. With Zumba, an excellent memory trainer, especially if you need to memorize dance steps and choreography.
