Dear CAPHRI colleagues,

We cordially invite you to the 2022 edition of the CAPHRI Research Day on Wednesday 22 June. Our annual event where we can meet, share and learn.

This year's theme is 'A healthy society for everyone'.
Everyone has the right to good health, adequate health care, a good quality of life, and full participation in society, regardless of age, gender, sexual orientation, disability status, and cultural background. But the health disparities that exist in society show that we’ve still got a long way to go to achieve our vision.

During this Research Day we will explore how our research contributes to ‘A healthy society for everyone’ (CAPHRI’s vision).

Next to that, we will also look at our own workplace. CAPHRI has a diverse employee population. How do we work together given the differences between us? And how can we harvest the full potential of a diverse group?

Programme

  • We are looking forward to meeting you all during interesting plenaries and 12 (!) inspiring workshops and Research Line sessions......
  • Klasien Horstman will hold a keynote in which she reflects on the research machinery of categorizing and othering.......
  • Our PhD candidates will show their video's in which they present their PhD research for the general public in a creative way.......
  • And of course, we are excited who will win one of the CAPHRI Awards!

Please find the full programme here.
