Abstracts and posters

The call for abstracts for the Benelux Metabolomics Days 2026 is open. The scientific committee is responsible for selecting submitted abstracts for oral presentations and posters. We encourage all PhD students, postdocs and senior researchers working in metabolomics to share their work with the Benelux metabolomics community to make new connections and expand their metabolomics network during these days.

BEST POSTER Prize 2026!

Also this year BMC will award one poster as BEST POSTER that will be presented during the poster sessions of the conference! Make sure you present your research in form of a poster during one of the 2 conference days!

The BEST POSTER receives a travel grant for an amount of €500 to take part in a conference of your choice.

Submission guidelines

You can submit your abstract via the submission link at the end of this page. If there are questions do not hesitate to ask and contact meike.bunger@health-ri.nl.

You can upload your abstract for:
- 2 POSTER sessions (on day 1 and 2)
During the uploading process we will ask you for the following:
- name of first author (=> presenter during the conference)
- list of co-authors + affiliations
- the title of the abstract
- Keywords that describe you research abstract best
- Upload your abstract as a word document or pdf!

The abstract should be written in Times New Roman 12 and is limited to 3000 characters including the title, body, authors, affiliations and spacing
(fit on one A4). If applicable please use the section headings “Introduction”, “Approach”, “Results” and “Discussion”.
