Metabolomics & Fermented Foods



On September 22, 2022  NMC organized the first edition of Metabolomics & the Microbiome at DSM, Delft in the Netherlands.

This is the second meeting, which will be held at Danone Research & Innovation in Utrecht, the Netherlands is a follow-up meeting to broaden our knowledge and network in the field of Metabolomics and Fermented Foods. We like to initiate an open discussion on how metabolomics is contributing to answering complex questions in the field of Fermented Food Products concerning monitoring health and food safety issues. The main focus will be on mammalian health and food production. We like to cover its potential and the pitfalls/limitations, and to foster new (public-private) collaborations. 

Meeting details

The meeting will be held on February 29, 2024 at Danone Research & Innovation in Utrecht, the Netherlands.


For the program we invited (inter)national keynote speakers / thought leaders both from industry and academia in the field of fermentative food production.
