Welcome to QDiamond26

Welcome to the website of the international workshop “QDiamond26”!

QDiamond is a series of focused workshops on quantum science and technology with diamond. The previous meetings were held in South Africa, China, Australia, Israel, and Hungary. In this meeting we try to encourage discussion as much as possible, and thus we restrict the number of participants to below 30 (mostly PI’s, invitation only) and leave ample time for discussions.

The goal of the meeting is to bring together an international group of scientists working on diamond-based quantum sensing, simulation, and information technology. Presentation of participants' research will be through talks with content spanning from published research to new ideas to the latest unpublished work. Ample time for questions and discussions will be reserved to promote the exchange of ideas.

The conference in 2026 will take place on the Oud-Poelgeest Estate in the Netherlands, from 15 to 18 June 2026 with arrival on June 14. The best kept secret of the Randstad, a stone's throw from Leiden and only five minutes after leaving the highway, you will find yourself in one of the beautiful, historic, green surroundings that the Netherlands has to offer.
