By plane:

The nearest airport to the conference is Schiphol airport in Amsterdam (Schiphol | Start your journey well at our airport). Several trains per hour depart from Schiphol airport for Leiden central station and this takes approximately 20 minutes (planning at www.ns.nl or www.9292.nl/en).

Public transport from Leiden central station:

Every half an hour (daytime) you can take a bus to the conference location:

• Qbuzz line 55: get off at Jachthaven Poelgeest. From there it is a 10-minute walk.
• Qbuzz line 50: get off at Abtspoelweg, Oegstgeest. From there it is a 7-minute walk.

By taxi:

• From Schiphol airport: you can easily book a taxi, outside at the official taxi rank or online in advance; booking in advance is more  economical (distance 27 km/25 minutes). Taxi to and from Schiphol
• From Leiden central station (distance 2.5 km/5 minutes). You can book a taxi outside of the station at the official taxi rank. Taxi Leiden Central

By car:

Kasteel Oud-Poelgeest is easy to reach by car. Use a route planner. Parking is free of charge. Plan route

By bike or by walk: 

Do you have a train pass? If available, you can rent a bike at Leiden station. By bike, it is approximately 5 minutes.

By walk from Leiden central train station, it is approximately a 30-minute walk.
