BioSB PhD retreat

 

The YoungCB (ISCB Regional Student Group Netherlands) is pleased to invite you to the BioSB PhD retreat 2020 in the afternoon of October 26th.

With the recent increasing number of covid-19 infections and additional measures introduced by the government, the PhD retreat on October 26 will be held online participation only. Despite not being able to meet each other in person, we believe we still have a very exciting online program with four enthusiastic speakers, with enough room for you to actively participate in discussions.

This year we will focus on career paths. We have invited some great speakers from different research disciplines. Besides telling about the amazing research they are conducting, they will also tell you all about their (inter)national experiences, how they established their positions, and the choices they made on the way.

We encourage all (PhD-) students and young researchers in the fields of computational biology, bioinformatics, systems biology and related fields to attend this annual retreat to discuss your research and build a network with fellow young peers in the Netherlands. 

At the end of the program, we will have a session of “digital drinks”, so make sure you have some cold drinks laying in your fridge!
