09:30 - 10:00 | Monday Morning Meditation
by Petra Kormendy | Innbetween, Capucijnenstraat 122
Let's start the week together in meditation. It is a good way to be present, ready, focused, and loving. It is half an hour of guided meditation and relaxation with Petra in which the experience of meditation is the most important.
Petra Körmendy has been teaching meditation for more than 10 years, she is trained in different meditation traditions, such as vipassana, Sufi, zen, mantra, kriya, tantra, and several Christian meditation techniques. She teaches basics of enabling your heart to feel, your mind to silence, and your whole being to open.
Because of the vulnerable nature of practising meditation, and thus in the interest of everyone attending, we like to ask you to join on time. In case you happen to be late, please simply join the next meditation on Wednesday at 12.00.
No need to register. More info: https://www.facebook.com/InTheInnBetween

Climbing is a varied sport with physical challenges. In addition, there are mental challenges to overcome. For example, climbing can help you reduce or cope with fear of heights or trust/control issues. Therefore, this workshop is also a good opportunity to work on that.

15:00 - 17:00 | Speaking up
by Sex Matters |Inner City, Tapijn 11, room I0.011
We all come across discrimination. Whether it's directed at us or anyone else, unfortunately it's almost everywhere. Fortunately, you can do something about it yourself!
In the Speaking Up workshop, you will learn what counts as discrimination and harassment, why that is bad, and how you can effectively stand up for (or addressing) it to someone. We will go into sexist, racist, and homophobic comments and what it does to someone if these (sometimes seemingly innocent/small) comments are addressed to you.
You will learn to recognize these situations and how to respond to them. The result is that victims feel seen and supported and that harassment and discrimination are addressed.

President of Maastricht University Prof. Dr. Rianne Letschert will officially open the Wellbeing Week, followed by inspirational speaker Joseph Oubelkas.
Everyone has a story. That of Joseph Oubelkas (1980) is about dealing with adversity and change, about freedom of choice and perseverance. Joseph talks about always staying connected to yourself and with the world around you. This is always possible, regardless of circumstances, situation or environment.
