How are you doing?

In this 1-on-1 session with a coach, you will gain insight into your overall wellbeing using the positive health spiderweb. Health is more than just the absence of illness—it includes your physical, mental and social wellbeing. You will reflect on different aspects of your life and check in with yourself on how you are really doing.

By the end of the session, you will have taken at least one step toward improving your wellbeing in a way that matters to you.

 

 

 

 

 

 Yin Yoga & Yoga Nidra session

Time: 12h00 - 13h15
Where: UM Sports - Body & Mind Studio
Trainer: Ilona Lucia Yoga & Reiki

Yin Yoga is a slow-paced style of yoga where poses are held for an extended period, usually around 3-5 minutes or even longer. The focus is on targeting the deeper connective tissues and joints, aiming to increase flexibility and promote relaxation. But Yin Yoga isn't just about physical postures – it's an introspective journey. As you sink into each pose, you'll learn to observe your thoughts and sensations without judgement. This can be a powerful tool for managing the challenges that come with university life.

Yoga Nidra, also know as 'yogic sleep,' is a guided meditation practice that induces deep relaxation and conscious awareness. You lay down in a comfortable position and follow my voice, gradually moving your attention through different parts of the body and entering a state between wakefulness and sleep. The goal of Yoga Nidra is to achieve a profound level of relaxation, reduce stress, and even tap into the subconscious mind.

Volunteering at these organisations can boost your well-being, enhance your soft skills, and help you grow as a global citizen. Enjoy some vlaai while learning about the many ways you can contribute to the community.

Coffee, Cookies and Chat

Come enjoy a lovely afternoon coffee at the @ease - the cozy safe space made for you to feel like home. Make sure to sign up (limited spaces)  to get your free coffee, tea and cookies from Bandito Espresso! Get ready to socialise over the world's most popular beverage!

At 15h00 the workshop Positive Health starts at the same location.

 

Sip&paint with SPT

Time: 15u30 - 18u00

Join the Student Project Team in an afternoon of coziness with painting, coffee or tea and connection. We are hosting our take on a sip and paint event on the 19th of November from 15:30-18:00 at @ease.
All materials, drinks and snack are provided, just join us and bring your creative energy. See you there.

Step into a VR world to relax and have fun with catching pesky aliens, conduct an orchestra, paint or discover space. During the virtual Retreat you can choose from a variety of games and experiences using VR Glasses.
