St. Pietersberg Hike

Time:    11h00-12h30
Where: Fort Sint Pieter Luikerweg 71a
(near restaurant Monte Nova - look for UnLimited banner)
Host:    UnLimited-Students

Exploring the Sint Pietersberg

Would you like to spend time outside while getting in touch with (fellow) students with disabilities, chronic illnesses, or neurodivergence?

Then join our autumn hike with UnliMited-Students and the Wellbeing Movement for some fresh air and take a break from studying!

We plan to have a group that walks at a slower pace, takes more frequent breaks and/or follows a shorter route.

We will meet at Sint Pietersberg and go on a hike together, after which we will go to one of the cafés for a nice coffee/tea, for the ones who are up for that!

Breast cancer awareness Workshop
(students only)

Time: 14h00 - 15h00
Where: @Ease, Boogaardenstraat 35a, Maastricht
Host: Busted Foundation

Winner of the UM Student Award 2025

Busted Foundation is a unique initiative by Eva de Groeve and Laura de Raeve.

The Wellbeing Movement is proud to host yet another unique Busted Workshop during the Wellbeing Week.

Busted is a small project, created from passion and interest in female health and education.
Eva and Laura saw the gap in knowledge about breast cancer around them and could not ignore this. Women, girls and anyone with breast-tissue of any age should be aware of the risk factors and signs of breast cancer. We should all know that something as easy as a two-minute self-check-up every month can lead not only to earlier detection of cancerous growths, but more importantly teach us about our own bodies and what is normal for each one of us.

Busted aims to empower individuals of all ages, particularly women and girls, to take proactive steps in their own breast health and encourage breast cancer awareness and early detection.

In this hands-on workshop we discuss risk factors, signs and symptoms, breast anatomy and teach you how to perform an easy two-minute self checkup.

We aim to foster an open and comfortable environment to discuss breast cancer and where all questions, thoughts and stories are welcome.

If you’re interested in learning about breast cancer, the risk factors the signs and symptoms and how to do a self-check-up, the hands-on Busted workshop is the place or you!🌸

Fun with Lego

Time:    15h00 - 16h30
Where: Innercity Library, Parlour (Wheelchair accessible)
Host:    Monique Notermans

Let's play!

Playing with LEGO teaches us how to problem solve, helps with developing creativity and storytelling but above all it is fun and relaxing.

What do you want to do?

  • Just play around with the Legos and build your own little project?
  • Or are you up for a challenge? Pick a card and start building!
  • Or would you rather opt for a group challenge?

Shaping out emotions

Time:    16h00-18h00
Where: @Ease, Boogaardenstraat 35a, Maastricht
Host:     UM Pride

Mindful collage-making

In this workshop we want to treat collage making as mindfulness.

Focus on how you’re feeling, but without judgement - just naming and accepting the emotions.

Often, nowadays, we tend to push our emotions away, or we're so busy that we don't focus on them at all.

Therefore, we find it very important to have a space and time where you can actually feel.

Our collages will be a form of expression of the emotions we feel, however, without interpretation or judgement.

We’ll aim to help shape the particular feeling and not assess it as bad or good.

And while crafting together, we’ll also have time to get to know each other and connect.

Materials will be provided.
