“Work smarter not harder”. Here is a simple feature that will help you do this by smarter track management for your event program through our event-website builder.
Usually, tracks are linked to titles and copied across event days. Now admins can create all necessary tracks at the beginning of the event program and then hide specific ones for certain days in the program builder. You can now control visibility based on the day to reduce clutter and confusion. This way you have everything laid out, but only see it when needed, providing a cleaner view for both admins and participants on the website.
How does it work?
Tracks are usually a grouping of events in a day. They are copied across event days for quick setup, and are particularly useful if for example you have an event that has different sub-themes going on. Use short track names when creating your event program. This way you can display in a more organized way that some activities are specific to the certain sub-theme, which is in the spotlight for that day, or preferred by different attendees.
So what does that mean? Well, depending on your event, for some sub-themes attendees might have access only if they have purchased a specific ticket, or are interested in only one category of speeches. Hiding certain tracks during certain event days keeps their schedule clean and concrete, displaying only what they need to see. As an admin your work is also way easier, since you won’t have to figure work-arounds to manage track visibility anymore. Hiding tracks is based on the event day, not specific participant types.
