EUSOBI Mammography & beyond Course 2023

All time specifications within the EUSOBI course registration process refer to CET (Central European Time). EUSOBI accepts no responsibility for errors or misprints.

REGISTRATION
Registration for the EUSOBI Mammography & beyond Course 2023 is to be made electronically by using the respective registration tool provided on the EUSOBI website (www.eusobi.org/mgbeyond/). Registrations without participant’s full name, complete email, postal address and date of birth cannot be processed. It is the participant’s own responsibility to provide all necessary details and documents and to ensure the completeness of their registration. The minimum age limit for registration is 18 years.
EUSOBI is using the secure online platform “aanmelder.nl” for online registration (https://www.aanmelder.nl/eusobi-mg-beyond-23/subscribe). After successful registration and payment, a confirmation email together with a payment confirmation document will be provided. Registration fees depend on the date your payment is received at the EUSOBI bank account and will be considered as incomplete and adjusted accordingly if the payment is not received by the relevant deadline. The relevant EUSOBI registration deadlines are announced on the EUSOBI website (www.eusobi.org/mricourse/).

MEMBER REGISTRATION
Reduced course registration is available to all EUSOBI Members in good standing in 2022 or/and 2023.

RADIOLOGY RESIDENT REGISTRATION
Reduced resident registration is offered to residents (young radiologists in training). The age limit for a registration as a resident is set at 35 years (incl. the age of 35). Residents have to email a proof signed by their head of department, confirming their status as such within 5 working days after online registration. In case this confirmation is not received, the registration fee will be automatically adjusted to a regular fee.

REGISTRATION OF THIRD PERSONS
Upon registration on behalf of third persons, the registering person warrants and guarantees to be entitled to execute such registrations according to these General Terms and Conditions in the name and on behalf of such third persons by proxy and to declare any and all approvals and consents required according to these General Terms and Conditions in the third person’s name and behalf.

PAYMENT
Payment of registration fee can be made by credit card (VISA or MasterCard). Payment by bank transfer can be accepted in exceptional cases but must be requested by email to office@eusobi.org. Upon receipt of the payment, a payment confirmation will be issued and sent via email.

CANCELLATION POLICY FOR PARTICIPANTS
In case of cancellation more than 30 days prior to the course, the registration fee will be refunded minus a cancellation handling fee of EUR 50,00 (refunds are processed after the course).
A cancellation less than 30 days prior to the course will not result in a refund.
All cancellations have to be done in writing and sent to the EUSOBI Office (office@eusobi.org).

NAME CHANGE
Name changes will be treated like the cancellation of one registration and the new registration of another participant. New registration and payment are required.

CANCELLATION, POSTPONEMENT, RELOCATION, CONVERSION
In case of insufficient registrations (less than 40), EUSOBI reserves the right to cancel the course at the latest 6 weeks prior to its beginning. Please keep this in mind for your travel arrangements. Please be aware that EUSOBI does not cover or refund travel and hotel expenses in any case.
In the event that it is judged advisable or necessary to have the EUSOBI Mammography & beyond Course 2023 postponed, to have the location changed, to have the event converted to an online meeting or closed early due to events beyond the control of its organisers (EUSOBI) (e.g. cancellation of flights, strikes, natural disasters, epidemics, pandemics, travel bans, official orders, closure of the event centre, etc.) EUSOBI shall not be obliged to any refunds. In such event, the obligation of EUSOBI shall be restricted to take reasonable efforts to relocate and/or to postpone the EUSOBI Mammography & beyond Course 2023.
In the event of a relocation and/or postponement of the EUSOBI Mammography & beyond Course 2023, the contract partner of EUSOBI shall remain entitled to participate at the EUSOBI Mammography & beyond Course 2023 at the new date and/or the new site under the same terms and conditions. In such event, EUSOBI will not be liable for any damage or loss incurred by their contract partner. If, for any reason, it becomes impossible to hold the EUSOBI Mammography & beyond Course 2023, EUSOBI will refund to the contract partner the sum paid, deducting the price for services still available (eg. online participation) and the expenses already incurred in preparations of the EUSOBI Mammography & beyond Course 2023 on a pro rate base according to the percentage determined and disclosed by EUSOBI.

PANDEMIC RELATED RESTRICTIONS
In order to avoid the spread of COVID-19 or other diseases, EUSOBI shall be entitled to restrict access to the course venue where the onsite EUSOBI Mammography & beyond Course 2023 is supposed to be staged as well as to any other premises where events related to EUSOBI Mammography & beyond Course 2023 shall be held according to the rules stated at the time as issued by the Austrian authorities. The respective rules may be subject to short notice changes and will be published in due course on EUSOBI’s website https://www.eusobi.org/mgbeyond/.
EUSOBI shall be entitled to request the upload and/or presentation of a respective certificate/document upon registration and/or at the course venue as well as at other premises where events related to EUSOBI Mammography & beyond Course 2023 shall be held, according to the rules stated at the time as issued by the Austrian authorities. EUSOBI shall be entitled to restrict participation of those not having provided such certificate/document.

FORCE MAJEURE
If, for any reason, holding the EUSOBI Mammography & beyond Course 2023 onsite in Vienna, Austria, becomes impossible due to reasons of force majeure, including but not limited to blackout, strikes, natural disasters, pandemics, epidemics, government regulations, internet failure, hacker attack or unavailability of the course venue, EUSOBI shall be entitled to hold the EUSOBI Mammography & beyond Course 2023 online only or to have the event postponed until such time the event of force majeure no longer exists. Holding the EUSOBI Mammography & beyond Course 2023 online only or having to postpone EUSOBI Mammography & beyond Course 2023 shall not entitle the participant to any refund of participation fee already paid.

BADGES AND SAFETY
The safety of all course delegates and participants is of utmost importance to the EUSOBI. Security measures and precautions at the EUSOBI course venues have been tightened to ensure maximum security for all attendees. Badges must be worn visibly on the course grounds at all times. The EUSOBI reserves the right for staff to check participants' identification upon admission to and/or inside the course venue. Participants may at any time be requested to present adequate proof of identity, in the form of a passport, driver's license, national or military identification or student ID. Documents for the proof of identity must include a photograph and signature.

LOST/FORGOTTEN BADGE
In the case of loss, a replacement badge will only be provided against full payment of the applicable onsite registration fee. Forgotten badges will be replaced against a deposit of the full onsite fee. The course badge may only be used by the person stated on the badge and cannot be assigned to other persons.

COURSE MATERIAL
The course material (badges, etc.) will be made available to the participants onsite.

DOCUMENTS
A confirmation of attendance will be made available to the participants after the course by email.
Confirmation of attendance/CME certificates will be saved and may be provided for a maximum of 3 years. Confirmation of payments will be saved and may be provided for a maximum of 7 years.

FILMING AND PHOTOGRAPHY
We would like to inform you that there may be filming and photography during the course. Such material my be used for the society’s website and social media channels.

PERONAL DATA
The participant is entitled to revoke his/her consent to the specific data processing at any time by contacting the EUSOBI Office.

COVID-19 DISCLAIMER
Besides all security measures that will be taken, neither EUSOBI, nor its organisation, the course venue or any other involved organising party can take the responsibility in case of an infection with covid-19 during your travel and stay on occasion of the EUSOBI Mammography & beyond Course 2023, as well as during the attendance of the event itself.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
There is neither any liability nor any obligation of EUSOBI in case of cancellation of the EUSOBI Mammography & beyond Course 2023 for whatever reasons. Apart from damages caused by physical injury, the liability of EUSOBI for damages of any other kind shall be restricted to willful intent or gross negligence. EUSOBI shall not be liable for any damages caused by force majeure.

PLACE OF PERFORMANCE/APPLICABLE LAW/PLACE OF JURISDICTION
The place of performance of any duties and obligations for EUSOBI and the participant sides shall be Vienna. The place of jurisdiction shall be 1010 Vienna, Austria. EUSOBI shall also be entitled to pursue any claim before the courts of law competent for the defendant’s domicile or general residence. Any contractual relationship with EUSOBI shall be subject to Austrian law.
