aanmelder.nl – looking back and ahead

Prinsjesdag.  A day of tradition. From the hats and the glass carriage to the King’s speech and the minister’s briefcase. A familiar moment to pause for a while. What have we achieved at aanmelder.nl in recent months? And more importantly: what are we focusing on next? In this article, we look back and take a moment to look ahead.

The past year

We’ve worked hard on various improvements. For ourselves and for our customers. A few examples:

  • We further developed and rolled out our  Event Website Builder. The builder makes creating an event site easier and gives you more creative freedom, so you can set up a professional – and beautiful – event site even faster.

  • Over the years, we’ve seen more and more news about data security and possible data breaches. A few months ago, aanmelder.nl obtained its SOC2 Type II certification. This certification not only shows that our data security is in order, but also that we can prove it. In this way, we continue to build a reliable platform for our users every single day.

  • A few weeks ago, we announced our new Check-in Mobile. The service that lets you register participants with just your phone.

  • Our brand identity and website have been renewed. From the familiar pink we moved to a combination of blue and orange. Exciting, and it took some getting used to, but it’s also a look & feel that better fits aanmelder.nl today.

  • We welcomed new colleagues to our support team and optimized several support processes. For example, enterprise customers now have the option of a central customer portal, and we’ve also trained a chat agent with our own knowledge base and blog content to provide direct help with technical questions (with our support team always standing firmly behind it, of course).

  • At the end of last year, we introduced our new license model. This allows customers to receive volume discounts across multiple products through the introduction of credits.

What's next

Of course, we’ll keep building. Several exciting developments are already planned:

  • We are simplifying the process for requesting and scheduling Event Check-in for your event. Requests will be easier to submit and can be processed faster – with more convenience for both you and our consultants.

  • You may have already noticed: you can switch to a redesigned navigation within our product. This will be more user-friendly and intuitive than the previous version. Pages and their layout will also be further refined in the future.

  • We are continuing to optimize processes around participant invoices. The goal: fewer exceptions and less manual work for both us and the organizer.

  • We are making registration even simpler – while keeping digital accessibility in mind within our system. Because for us, registration is where it all begins. The first step, after which people can truly come together.
