What’s new?
Previously, requesting our Event Check-in product involved multiple manual steps. For example, you’d contact Sales and/or Customer Connect, add Event Check-in as an add-on to your event, then receive the next steps by email and fill in the right forms. As a result, the request could take longer than you wanted, and sometimes you needed multiple touchpoints with our colleagues.
On top of that, we introduced Check-in Mobile last year, our new check-in option, which means there are now more check-in variants to choose from. Plenty of reasons to make this process easier. That’s why it’s now largely automated.
In your aanmelder.nl dashboard, you’ll find an updated request flow. You add the add-on to your event, easily choose between Check-in Mobile and Event Check-in (with badges), and follow a clear process with digital forms and quotes, including a personalized timeline. This way, as an organizer, you can get started right away—without having to contact us first.
Please note: For lease customers, the process works differently. You add Event Check-in to your event if you want to use it, and then indicate whether you need additional equipment.
How does it work?

- Start in the aanmelder dashboard
Choose whether you want to use the Check-in Mobile widget or the Event Check-in add-on. - Based on your choice, you’ll be guided through a specific flow:
Choose Check-in Mobile?
Then you’ll receive instructions to set up the app and top up credits. You can easily do this yourself in just a few steps.
Choose Event Check-in?
Then you’ll complete a second form with details about badge design, logistics, and any additional requests. - Receive and sign your quote
As soon as your quote is ready, you’ll automatically receive a notification. You can sign the quote digitally right in the dashboard. - Track your next steps in the timeline widget
The timeline in the dashboard shows exactly what you need to do next. The content automatically adjusts depending on the check-in variant you selected.

Soon, it will also be possible to import participants yourself—without needing any coordination with us.
