Welcome to the application pages for the student price and travel grants for the international conference Impact of Base of the Pyramid Ventures, to be held from Nov 16-18, 2009. There are a limited amount of spots and grants available.
On this site you will be able to submit your motivation to get a special price and/or a travel grant. Please read the questions carefully and mark only the answers that apply to you. If you are not a student or do not need a travel grant, please click here

The fee for the conference includes

• Admission to the conference sessions
• Admission to the conference workshops
• Admission to the exhibition area
• The conference program & proceedings
• Dinner on Tuesday Nov 17th, 2009 (not included in student price)

Monday Nov 16th the official dinner will take place, and you can register for this for an extra 35euro. Tickets should be purchased in advance. You can purchase multiple tickets in order to bring people who are not attending the conference. You can also purchase (extra) tickets for the dinner on Tuesday Nov 17th, 2009, at 25euro each.

Students & PhD Students

There are special rates for students and PhD students, see above for the prices. There is a limited amount of spots available. In order to apply for this special rate, register here and submit your motivation letter. The system will not oblige you to make a payment yet. You will be able to pay the discounted fee only after formal acceptance of your request, which will be after September 15th, 2009.

Travel Grants

It is possible for participants from non-OECD countries who are unable to otherwise participate in this conference to apply for a travel grant of max. 1000 euro, as well as a waiver of the registration fee.
There is a limited amount of grants available. These will be awarded at the sole discretion of the Organizational Committee. The system will not oblige you to make a payment yet. You will be able to register and make payment after formal acceptance of your request, which will be after September 25th, 2009. If you want to make sure you have a ticket, you can register and pay now at www.aanmelder.nl/bopimpact.
