RAMÓN GÓMEZ MEDA, DDS.
DENTIST, SPAIN

Dr. Ramón Gómez Meda obtained his Degree in Dentistry from the University of
Santiago de Compostela in 1996 with the best marks. As a result, he obtained
the Thesis Award of the Autonomous Community of Galicia for Academic
Excellence and a Grant from the College of Dentists of Cordoba to the best
Academic record among the Spanish Dental Schools. He has been
distinguished with several more awards through his professional career. He
decided to study every field in dentistry against the advice of many of his
professors: a Master of Occlusion and Temporo-mandibular Dysfunction
(Valencia, 98) and a postgraduate training in Orthodontics with Prof.. David
Suarez Quintanilla in the University of Santiago de Compostela (98-99). He did
a post-graduate program in Periodontics and Implantology (Madrid 99-00) and
completed these studies with clinical residencies in colleges, hospitals and
clinics in Europe and America. Ex-partner of the departments of Restorative
Dentistry & Endodontics, and Surgery at the University of Santiago de
Compostela. He is a past-lecturer for the Continuing Education Committee of
the General Dental Spanish Council. He maintains a private practice in
Ponferrada (León, Spain) since 2001 which has transitioned into the digital era.
He is a member of several scientific societies. He has published more than 30
articles about hard and soft tissue grafting techniques and multidisciplinary
treatments. Lately he has been lecturing very intensively internationally for the
most prestigious congresses and universities. His topics are Periodontics,
Implantology and Aesthetic Multidisciplinary treatments, combining a Perio-
Prostho Approach to get excellence. He´s been a guest lecturer in several
masters and postgraduate programs in Spanish universities (Madrid, Barcelona,
Valladolid Córdoba, Granada, Santiago de Compostela) and abroad: New
York, Boston, Tufts and Louisiana Universities. He is also a DentalXP expert
and Zeiss expert, with more than 20 years of experience with dental microscope
applied to microsurgery and prosthodontics and had trained hundreds of
dentists from all over the world with his “over-his-shoulder clinical residencies”.
His new start-of-the-art office holds international training courses and a very
successful two-years program focused in how to get excellence throughout the
Perio-Prostho Approach.
