Create simpler registration forms with “and” logic

What’s new?

Many of you asked for more flexibility in how forms and tickets work together. Until now, forms in aanmelder.nl only supported "OR" conditions — meaning a ticket would appear if a specific condition was met. Now, we’re introducing support for "AND" logic. This means a ticket will only appear when all selected conditions are true / met — for example, when someone selects both ‘Professor’ and ‘Dinner’.

How does it work?

The “and” condition in the ticket selection enables you to implement more practical automation into your registration form.
For example, if you are organising an educational summit and want to include ”dinner” as an “optional fee-based” ticket for only a specific group of guests you can now do so. If you add the “and” logic to the “professor” ticket, only people who have chosen this ticket will be able to see the option.

Note:

If you're duplicating a ticket group, ensure the ticket names in the new group exactly match those in the original — this keeps the logic intact.

Why does it matter?

This new feature helps you set up smarter, more efficient registration flows — especially when you want to show the right tickets to the right participants at the right moment.
Curious about all of the benefits?
- Less manual / repeated actions within the software
- Fewer errors
- Improve the user experience by presenting clearer forms
- Reduce chances of friction / low engagement by only showing the right questions.

You can also combine this feature with limits (e.g. 50 seats), and payment questions.

For example you can create a text field asking for specific allergies that emerges only if someone is attending dinner and has indicated they have allergies — keeping the form clean and relevant.
